Guwahati, Jun 26: A 128-year-old mosque in Dibrugarh was demolished as part of a major drainage project aimed at tackling waterlogging in the area.

Officials confirmed that the demolition was carried out after completing legal formalities related to land acquisition.

The project is expected to improve drainage between Bokul and the Sessa Bridge.
