Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday announced the inauguration of the Kameng Cafeteria and Sanitary Complex on the BCT Road, aimed at improving public amenities along the Bomdila-Dirang-Tawang route.

The newly developed facility features clean toilets, a local-food cafeteria, an e-tourist information centre, parking space, and murals depicting Arunachal’s cultural heritage. Developed with community support, including land donated by residents of Senge, the complex is operated by local youth.

CM Khandu termed the initiative a model of smart and inclusive development, and appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Akriti Sagar and her team for their role in implementing the project. He also suggested that similar models could be replicated across other parts of the state.
