Itanagar, July 4: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, along with Member of Parliament Tapir Gao, travelled to Dharamshala on Friday aboard the Vande Bharat Express to attend the 90th birth anniversary celebration of the 14th Dalai Lama.
Khandu shared the update on his official social media handle, calling it an honour to be part of the historic occasion. He described the Dalai Lama as a “towering symbol of peace, compassion, and humanity,” and extended heartfelt tributes on the occasion.
He also praised the comfort and convenience of the Vande Bharat Express, highlighting it as a reflection of India’s growing infrastructure capabilities.
