Guwahati, July 4: Dr. Ruplin Rongpipi, a dedicated Community Health Officer and renowned YouTuber, tragically passed away after being electrocuted by a lightning strike at her residence in Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong district. The incident occurred late Thursday night during a severe thunderstorm when Dr. Rongpipi attempted to disconnect the inverter at her home.

The thunderstorm brought heavy rainfall and lightning to the region, resulting in the electrocution. Dr. Rongpipi was trying to disconnect the inverter when she came into contact with the live electrical current.

Dr. Rongpipi worked at the Krokengdang Ayushman Arogya Mandir, providing essential healthcare services to the community. She was also a popular YouTuber who used her platform to educate and empower people on public health issues.
