Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Monday congratulated Sridhar Rao, IPS, on his promotion and appointment as the Director General of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Sikkim.

In a message shared on his official Facebook page, the Chief Minister commended Rao’s distinguished service in various capacities within the Sikkim government and during his deputation to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Rao was recently honoured with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2024.

CM Tamang extended his best wishes as Rao assumes his new role, expressing confidence in his dedication and integrity in carrying out the responsibilities of the post.
