Agartala, July 11, 2025: The Government of Tripura has allocated important portfolios to Cabinet Minister Shri Kishor Barman. As per an official notification issued by the GA (Confidential and Cabinet) Department, Barman has been entrusted with the charge of three departments—Panchayat, Higher Education, and G.A. (Political)—with immediate effect.

The notification was issued under the provisions of Rule 5 of the Rules of Executive Business of the Government of Tripura and was approved by the Governor on the advice of the Chief Minister.

The order signed by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha has been circulated to all relevant authorities, including the Governor’s Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Office, Tripura Legislative Assembly, and all state departments.

The notification will also be published in an extraordinary issue of the Tripura Gazette.
