Assam: Japanese Encephalitis Claims 26 Lives, 250 Infected

An outbreak of Japanese encephalitis has resulted in 26 deaths across Assam. Health officials report that over 250 cases have been detected in the Barak region.

Nine children are currently undergoing treatment at Diphu Medical College as the state intensifies monitoring and response efforts.
