Assam: Four Poachers Arrested In Chirang, Weapons Seized

In a joint operation, officials from Bijni Police Station and Manas National Park arrested four individuals suspected of involvement in wildlife poaching. The raid led to the recovery of several illegal items including three iron animal traps, four large wild boar teeth, wild animal bones, six wild animal teeth, a dried tiger tongue and tiger hair, twenty porcupine thorns, along with pistol grips and iron pipes.

Authorities continue to intensify efforts to combat poaching and the illegal trade of wildlife in the region.
