Assam Police have detained 12 Bangladeshi nationals who were found staying without valid documents. The individuals were subsequently repatriated to Bangladesh through the Cachar and Sribhumi border points, officials confirmed.

The action was carried out as part of routine border security measures to prevent illegal infiltration.
