Nagaland Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Keviraleü Kerhuo, has said that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 seeks to make schools nurturing environments for students to grow academically, emotionally, socially, and morally.

She was speaking at a one-day consultative workshop held in Kohima on the revised Nagaland School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework and the State School Standards Authority.

Kerhuo further informed that, in line with this vision, the Ministry of Education has launched the SARTHAQ implementation plan—Students’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement Through Quality Education—to support the effective rollout of NEP 2020 objectives.
