Agartala, July 26, 2025: A wave of panic swept through Tripura’s Moharchara Class XII School in Teliamura on Friday morning after four students reportedly fell ill following a terrifying experience inside the school bathroom. The students Manojit Mondal (Class VI), Diya Debnath, Tanushree Sarkar, and Subhasree Debnath (all Class VII) were immediately taken to Teliamura Sub-Division Hospital for medical attention.

According to school staff, the incident took place during school hours when one of the students entered the bathroom and allegedly saw a “headless man with a deformed black body.” Overwhelmed with fear, the student ran back to class in a state of panic. Three other students who later visited the same bathroom reportedly claimed to have witnessed the same frightening figure, after which all four began screaming and showing signs of shock.

Teachers and staff acted swiftly to escort the children to the hospital. Doctors have confirmed that the students are physically stable but mentally distressed and are being kept under observation.

The bizarre incident has reignited longstanding concerns among locals and parents, some of whom claim the school has a disturbing history of mysterious occurrences, including unexplained deaths. Many guardians allege that the old bathroom blocks are at the center of these events and have repeatedly called for their demolition.

While school authorities have yet to issue an official statement, the local police are expected to launch an investigation into the matter. Whether the incident was a case of mass hysteria, a prank gone wrong, or something more inexplicable remains to be determined.
