Itanagar, July 26: Arunachal Pradesh Governor KT Parnaik on Friday paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1999 Kargil War, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Remembering the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces, the Governor said the day stands as a solemn reminder of their unwavering dedication and patriotism.

“Against impossible odds and in the most unforgiving terrain, our soldiers stood tall to defend the motherland, embodying the true spirit of India,” he said.
