Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Friday led the state in commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas at the Palace Auditorium of the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Imphal.

Paying heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces, the Governor underscored the importance of honouring their supreme sacrifices in defending the nation. During the solemn observance, he also paid homage to seven valiant soldiers from Manipur who lost their lives during the 1999 Kargil War.

The event was attended by Director General of Police Rajiv Singh, senior government officials, armed forces personnel, and war veterans, who joined in remembering the heroes of Kargil and reaffirming the nation’s gratitude.
