Agartala, July 31, 2025: In a significant achievement for Tripura, local talent Krishnakali Saha has made her Bollywood playback debut in the upcoming Hindi film Param Sundari. She has lent her voice to the song “Pardesiya”, sung alongside celebrated singer Sonu Nigam. The track, already released, is receiving widespread acclaim for its soulful and fresh rendition.

Remarkably, Krishnakali’s entry into the industry did not follow the conventional route of reality shows or televised auditions. Her direct foray into Bollywood highlights her musical prowess and determination. Her success is being celebrated across Tripura, as it marks a proud moment for the state’s cultural landscape.

Param Sundari, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, is a romantic comedy that explores the love story between a North Indian man and a South Indian woman. Their cultural differences set the stage for humorous, emotional, and chaotic twists. The film is directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner.

Originally slated for release on July 25, the film is now scheduled to hit theatres nationwide on August 29, 2025.
