The Meteorological Centre in Itanagar has issued an orange alert for Lower Subansiri, Lohit, Changlang, and Anjaw districts in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Met Centre has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and heavy rainfall at isolated locations in these areas.

In addition, a yellow alert has been declared for 17 other districts across the state as a precautionary measure. Residents have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
