Itanagar, Aug 11: Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the second phase of the government housing redevelopment project in Itanagar on Monday. The new phase includes redevelopment in B-Sector, C-Sector, P-Sector, and Niti Vihar.

During the foundation stone ceremony, Khandu highlighted that the project is designed to modernize Itanagar by replacing old and unsafe government housing with earthquake-resistant flats. He stressed the importance of providing affordable and secure housing for government employees and the general public.

The Chief Minister assured that all newly constructed flats will focus on safety, durability, and preserving the dignity of residents.
