The foundation stone for the upcoming District Court Complex in Pakyong was officially laid on Tuesday by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay and Chief Justice of the High Court of Sikkim, Justice Biswanath Somadder.

The event was attended by Justice Bhaskar Raj Pradhan of the High Court of Sikkim, Education and Law Minister Raju Basnet, and Labour and Housing Minister Bhim Hang Limboo.

The new court complex aims to modernize judicial infrastructure in Pakyong, providing improved facilities for legal proceedings and better access to justice for residents and legal professionals.
