The Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Monday celebrated the Golden Jubilee of its establishment, marking 50 years of legislative service in the state.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla extended his greetings through a virtual message, describing the Assembly as a symbol of unity in diversity. He noted that the House has passed more than 600 legislations so far, demonstrating its commitment to addressing the aspirations of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

Birla stressed that healthy debate has been a hallmark of the Assembly and urged legislators to continue promoting dialogue and consensus in shaping policies for the state’s development.
