Agartala, August 26, 2025: Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) has been conferred with a prestigious National Award by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), Government of India, for its remarkable performance in Atal Pension Yojana (APY) enrollment during the financial year 2024–25.

The award was received by TGB Chairman Satyendra Singh, marking a proud moment for the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and social security.

TGB secured the second rank among all Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country highlighting its strong focus on providing old-age income security to citizens and contributing significantly to the success of this flagship scheme.

Notably, this is the third consecutive year that Tripura Gramin Bank has featured in the top three RRBs at the national level under APY, reaffirming its consistent performance and dedication.

Bank officials credited the achievement to the unwavering efforts of its staff, BC agents, and branch officials, who have worked tirelessly to drive higher enrollments and ensure quality service delivery under the scheme.
