A special meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) of Niuland District was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of, Minister for Public Health Engineering Department and Cooperation, and Chairman of the DPDB Niuland, Jacob Zhimomi.

Taking to social media post, Zhimomi highlighted that in addition to reviewing society registrations and other district-related matters, the meeting deliberated on several pressing public concerns, including the ongoing border eviction issue, the Inner Line Permit system, and illegal immigration.
Minister Zhimomi emphasized that during verification processes, care must be taken to ensure that genuine Indian citizens are not subjected to harassment. Highlighting Niuland’s steady progress on the path of development, the Minister called for continued cooperation and active participation from all sections of society.
Zhimomi stressed that such collective efforts are crucial to transforming Niuland into a model district.
