Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has highlighted India’s growing global influence and called on the people of the state to actively support the country’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Speaking during the Assembly Session on Tuesday, CM Rio urged the Nagas not to miss the opportunity of “Viksit Bharat 2047,” a milestone India is already committed to achieving. He referred to a recent high-level meeting in China attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the Presidents of Russia and China.
CM Rio described the recent U.S. tariffs of 55% as a “blessing in disguise” for India, stating that it has strengthened India’s international partnerships with Russia and China. He added that this global shift presents a significant opportunity for India and emphasized that when India benefits, Nagaland also stands to gain.
