Agartala, September 5, 2025: The state government has released Rs. 10 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support ongoing disaster relief efforts. The fund has been handed over to the Revenue Department for distribution among those affected by last year’s devastating floods.
This marks the fourth installment released from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, bringing the total disbursal for post-flood relief to Rs. 35 crore.
The mid-August deluge of last year left a trail of destruction, claiming 24 lives, damaging infrastructure and property worth over Rs. 15,000 crore, and affecting nearly 17 lakh people across the state.
