200 Families And CAP Candidate Join Sikkim Krantikari Morcha In Namthang-Rateypani

Around 200 families from CAP and SDF, along with Hari Chandra Chettri, 2024 CAP candidate from Namthang-Rateypani, and 45 of his supporters, formally joined the SKM Party at a ceremony held at the SKM Party Office in the constituency on Wednesday.

The event was attended by Sanjeet Kharel, MLA and Advisor, Power Department, Namthang-Rateypani; Shadav Sharma, Chairperson, Contractor Association; Jacob Khaling, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister; Bhim Dhungel, SKM CEC Vice President; Narendra Shreshta, Vice President (Youth Wing, State Level); Jiwan Subba, OSD; Kabita Sapkota, SKM Spokesperson, and other party members.

During the ceremony, MLA Sanjeet Kharel welcomed the new members, emphasizing collective progress and inclusive growth. Jacob Khaling highlighted the party’s strong foundation and vision, noting that Kharel has consistently addressed public demands and promoted development in the region.

The mass joining is seen as a boost to SKM’s presence in Namthang-Rateypani, reflecting growing trust in the party’s leadership and governance.
