Assam Police conducted multiple operations across Cachar and Karbi Anglong districts, seizing drugs worth approximately ₹9 crore and arresting six individuals involved in narcotics trafficking.

In Cachar, four men were arrested in connection with illegal drug trade. Police recovered 65 kg of cannabis, 165 grams of heroin, and ₹75,000 in cash from the suspects.

In Karbi Anglong, two individuals were apprehended, and 1,500 kg of ganja was seized during a targeted anti-drug operation.
Authorities said these actions are part of ongoing measures to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety in the region.
