Agartala, September 20, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha on Saturday set an example of humanity and sensitivity while attending a voluntary blood donation camp organized by the BJP OBC Morcha at the Agartala Press Club.

During the event, a participant identified as Sanjit Das, a resident of Chanmari area suddenly fell ill creating confusion among volunteers. At that very moment, the Chief Minister was addressing the gathering from the stage. Witnessing the situation, Dr. Saha immediately stopped his speech, rushed down, and personally provided first aid to the youth. Sources confirmed that the condition of the patient later stabilized.

The incident left a deep impression on those present at the camp, with many describing it as a rare display of leadership. “By standing beside an ordinary man in his time of need, the Chief Minister has shown not only administrative responsibility but also a compassionate side of leadership,” remarked one of the attendees.

The spontaneous act of care transformed the atmosphere at the camp into an emotional one, reinforcing Dr. Saha’s image as a people-centric leader.
