The 72nd Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Yuksum, restored connectivity on the Nambu-Rimbik road that had been blocked due to repeated landslides in recent days.

The road clearance was carried out on Sunday following a request from Panchayat Member of Rimbik ward under 12/Nambu-Sindrabung GPU, Sancha Kumari Limboo. A team from Nambu company, led by Assistant Commandant Vishwas K. M., was deployed under the guidance of the Commandant, 72 Bn SSB, Yuksum. In coordination with local villagers, the team removed debris and conducted necessary repairs, making the road motorable again.

The effort, reflecting SSB’s motto “Service, Security and Brotherhood,” received appreciation from the local community and the civil administration.
