The Jiribam Municipal Council on Tuesday organized Lok Kalyan Mela 2025 under the PM SVANidhi scheme at the Council’s Conference Hall.
The campaign aimed to mobilize new applications under the restructured PM-SVANidhi scheme, facilitate loan disbursement for sanctioned applicants, and carry out socio-economic profiling of street vendors and their families.
Representatives from Punjab National Bank, Manipur State Cooperative Bank Jiribam, and Bandhan Bank Ltd Jiribam, along with members of the Town Vending Committee, attended the event.
The Lok Kalyan Mela 2025 marked a significant step towards strengthening the livelihood of street vendors and reflected the council’s commitment to effectively implementing government welfare schemes for the local community.
