NPP Manipur Constitutes Fact-Finding Committee On Demolition Of Historic Manipur Rajbari In Shillong

The National People’s Party (NPP), Manipur State Unit, has set up a Fact-Finding Committee to investigate the demolition of the historic Manipur Rajbari Building at Redlands, Shillong.

The five-member committee is chaired by MLA Kh. Loken Singh and includes R.K. Rameshwar Singh, General Secretary (Organisation); Russell Heisnam, General Secretary (Administration); Ratika Yumnam, General Secretary (CSOs Outreach, Research & Advocacy); and U. Ramesh Singh, Executive Member.

The committee has visited the site to gather detailed information and will submit its report and recommendations within fifteen days. The findings will be forwarded to the competent authority to ensure justice and appropriate action. The NPP reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Manipur’s heritage and ensuring accountability in the matter.
