Agartala, October 18, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made a strong pitch for development, unity, and continuity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during his visit to Bihar on Saturday. Addressing a nomination rally in support of BJP candidates Nand Kishore Ram (Ramnagar) and Ram Singh (Bagaha), Dr. Saha urged voters to strengthen the BJP’s hands in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.

Arriving in Ramnagar, West Champaran, after meeting Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah in Patna, Dr. Saha said, “The people of Bihar have always stood for progress, and I am confident they will once again bless the BJP for a stronger and developed India.”

He lauded the efforts of the state government and referred to Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey’s remarks on Bihar’s development under BJP’s leadership. Expressing optimism about the party’s performance, Dr. Saha said the overwhelming public response at the rally reflected growing faith in the BJP.

Acknowledging veteran MLA Bhagirathi Devi’s contribution to the Ramnagar constituency, Dr. Saha extended his gratitude and assured continued support to her legacy. He reminded the gathering that Bihar’s 243 assembly constituencies will go to polls in two phases—on November 6 and 11—with results to be announced on November 14.

“With Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, we already know what November 14 will bring,” Dr. Saha remarked confidently, recalling BJP’s earlier success of winning 8 out of 9 seats in Champaran.

The Chief Minister also evoked Bihar’s rich cultural and historical legacy, recalling that Mahatma Gandhi’s first Satyagraha began in Champaran in 1917. “India wears Bihar like a garland—it is the land of Lord Mahavir and a cradle of civilization,” he said.

Sharing his personal connection with the state, Dr. Saha mentioned, “I studied at Patna University’s Dental Medical College. Bihar feels like home to me. What this state has given to the nation in terms of talent and legacy is incomparable.”

Drawing parallels between Bihar’s growth and Tripura’s transformation, Dr. Saha highlighted Tripura’s development through the HIRA model—Highways, Internet, Railways, and Airways—and credited Prime Minister Modi’s vision for turning the state into a hub of progress and connectivity.

Concluding his address, Dr. Saha reiterated the BJP’s mantra, “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas,” urging the people of Bihar to stand united and ensure the party’s decisive victory for the state’s continued progress.

“Let us work together to make Bihar stronger, more prosperous, and a true reflection of India’s unity and development,” Dr. Saha said amid applause from the massive crowd.
