Mizoram is set to host its first-ever Territorial Army recruitment rally from November 15 to 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl.

Announcing this on Monday, Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) MLA and retired army officer Lt. Col. Clement Lalhmingthanga said the rally for the Territorial Army (Home & Hearth) will be jointly organised by the state government and the 166 Assam Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army).

He said the recruitment drive will provide new opportunities for Mizo youth, including women, to serve in the armed forces and contribute to national defense.
