Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General (Retd.) K.T. Parnaik, participated in the 556th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gurudwara Saheb, Naharlagun, today. He offered prayers before the Guru Granth Sahib and took part in the Anand Sahib Path and Ardaas, the solemn Sikh prayer seeking divine guidance and blessings for all.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor described the Guru Granth Sahib as a universal guide promoting purity of thought, honesty in action, and selfless service to mankind. He urged citizens to embrace humility, honesty, and love in their daily lives.
The Governor later joined people from different communities in the ‘Guru Ka Langar’ organized by the Sikh community of Itanagar and Naharlagun.
