Tripura’s Pradyot Kishore, CM Dr Manik Saha Hold “Positive” Talks on State’s Development

Agartala, November 07, 2025: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held a significant meeting on Friday, describing their discussions as “positive” and “moving in the right direction.”

Following the meeting, Debbarma said the interaction was constructive and focused primarily on Tripura’s overall development. “I placed my points, and he shared his views. We are hopeful that the dialogue will continue in a cordial and constructive manner for the benefit of the state,” he said.

He added that several key issues concerning Tripura’s progress were discussed, with both sides agreeing on the importance of “moving forward, not backwards.” Debbarma clarified that the meeting did not include any discussion on electoral matters. “We did not talk about elections; the discussion was positive, and we want a solution. The talks regarding the Tiprasa Accord process are ongoing,” he stated.

Ahead of the meeting, Debbarma had reiterated that his discussions with the Chief Minister would focus on the welfare of Tripura and strengthening harmony between tribal and non-tribal communities.

“Not everything is about politics. We want to work for the people and the development of the state,” Debbarma said, highlighting his commitment to a collaborative approach for ensuring inclusive growth and lasting peace in Tripura.
