A delegation of the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), led by its President B.D. Ningwar, met Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today and submitted a memorandum detailing major grievances and developmental challenges faced by the people of Chandel district.

The memorandum highlighted pressing concerns related to education, healthcare, infrastructure, road connectivity, and youth welfare. The delegation also expressed disappointment over delayed scholarship disbursements and stressed the need to preserve the local language and culture. Improving administrative coordination to ensure efficient governance was another key point raised.

ALT President B.D. Ningwar appealed to the Governor to intervene and initiate the necessary measures to address these longstanding issues, stating that equitable development in Chandel is vital for balanced progress across Manipur.

The Governor assured the delegation that the issues submitted would be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate action.
