Agartala, November 13, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday visited the Santirbazar Market in Dhalai district to assess the aftermath of the incident that took place on October 23, 2025.

During his visit, he interacted with the affected businessmen and assured them of the government’s full support in their rehabilitation.

“I urge everyone to maintain peace and tranquility during this time,” Dr. Saha said, emphasizing the importance of communal harmony. “I have directed the concerned District Magistrate to take all necessary steps to ensure proper rehabilitation of those impacted.”

The Chief Minister announced a structured relief package for those whose properties were damaged in the incident: ₹3 lakh for fully damaged houses or shops; ₹1.5 lakh for severely damaged houses or shops; and ₹15,000 for partly damaged houses or shops

He further assured that necessary assistance will be extended to injured individuals as part of the government’s commitment to comprehensive support.
