Agartala, November 24, 2025: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma announced that several key political leaders from the North East, including Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, are set to participate in the party’s mega rally in Agartala on November 27.
Speaking to reporters at the MBB Airport, Debbarma confirmed that the event, scheduled at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, will serve as a significant push toward shaping the proposed “One North East” political platform.
“Leaders like Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Mmhonlumo Kikon, Daniel Langthasa, and many others from the region will attend the rally,” he said.
Debbarma added that discussions on the “One North East” initiative have moved forward considerably, and efforts are underway to give the idea a definitive structure.
“It is always better to speak in one voice. The issues are the same, but the voices are scattered. Delhi doesn’t have the time to listen when everyone speaks separately,” he remarked.
