Agartala, November 25, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP and state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee has been discharged from ILS Hospital and returned home on Tuesday after undergoing medical treatment for cardiac complications.

Bhattacharjee, who was admitted last week with chest pain and later underwent a medical procedure to clear arterial blockage, is currently recovering under medical supervision. Doctors inserted a stent during surgery and his condition has since stabilized, senior BJP leaders informed.

Upon reaching home, Bhattacharjee expressed gratitude through a social media message, thanking party workers, supporters, and the medical team for their constant support. He stated that he has been advised strict home isolation and rest for the time being and requested well-wishers to refrain from visiting due to medical restrictions.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha had personally visited the hospital earlier to review the BJP leader’s condition and assured that the best medical care was being provided.

News of Bhattacharjee’s recovery has brought relief among BJP workers and supporters across Tripura, many of whom had expressed concern during his hospitalization. He is expected to resume public activities only after receiving medical clearance.
