Itanagar, Nov 26: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has praised the transformation of the district museum at Bomdila in West Kameng district into a creative learning centre under the Raag-Vista initiative.
Khandu, while appreciating the project on Wednesday, said the Raag-Vista initiative stands out as a model for youth empowerment, heritage preservation and community involvement. He stated that the programme provides opportunities for unemployed youth, encourages cultural learning among children and supports the museum’s sustainable maintenance.
Conceptualised by West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Akriti Sagar, Raag-Vista seeks to integrate music education with heritage awareness. The renovated museum now functions as a cultural hub offering structured lessons in guitar, piano, drums, vocals and other disciplines to promote artistic expression and build confidence among children.
Khandu noted that the initiative is reshaping community participation by blending skill development with cultural preservation. He urged parents and residents to support the programme and enrol their children to help achieve its long-term objectives.
