Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Saturday attended the “Tri-Anniversary Celebration, A Journey of Grace” at Holy Cross School, Tadong, commemorating three key milestones the Silver Jubilee of the Sikkim Catholic Church, the Universal Catholic Church’s Jubilee Year 2025 themed “Pilgrims of Hope,” and the Golden Jubilee of Sikkim’s statehood.
In his address, CM Tamang highlighted the values of introspection, forgiveness, justice, and spiritual renewal emphasized during the Jubilee Year 2025. He said that Sikkim, as it celebrates 50 years of statehood, continues to exemplify peace, harmony, and unity among all religions and communities. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring equal respect, progress, and opportunities for all faiths.
The Chief Minister reflected on core teachings of faith, including love, truth, forgiveness, service, humility, justice, peace, and spiritual discipline. He encouraged people to embrace positivity, support one another, and strengthen their spiritual journey.
CM Tamang expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the celebration and wished that the occasion brings grace, peace, and hope to everyone.
