The raid was led by SDPO (NCC) Subrata Barman and Airport Police Station OC Abhijit Mondal, supported by a large force.

Speaking on the operation, OC Mondal said, “Based on secret intelligence, we conducted the raid and successfully seized heroin and cash. The accused has been booked under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is in progress. Our anti-narcotics campaign will continue in the coming days.”

Local residents of Narsingarh have welcomed the police action, praising the crackdown on drug networks that often operate in layers and evade law enforcement. Community leaders noted that bringing traffickers under the purview of law remains a challenging but necessary task.
