Gangtok, Jan 15: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Thursday met representatives of the 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn), led by Commandant Ringzing Chopel Rai, who briefed him on the planned ‘Dragon Run 1.0 – One Run, One Spirit’.

The organisers said the event is aimed at promoting health and well-being and will be conducted across various categories along the scenic Temi Tea Garden route. The Chief Minister suggested adding a charity segment titled ‘Walk and Talk’, with prizes for participants.

The run is being organised in partnership with Discover Temi Group, Lions Club, and Sikkim Manipal University, and is scheduled to be held on February 22, 2026. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the organisers for the success of the event.
