Guwahati, Jan 23: Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, will visit Assam on January 25 as part of his three-day tour covering Tripura and Assam.

In Guwahati, Scindia is scheduled to participate in the foundation-laying and launch of major bamboo development projects aimed at promoting local industries and sustainable development. He will also attend the Pratidin Achiever Awards, 2026, at Gauhati University, which recognize outstanding contributions across various fields.

The Assam visit follows engagements in Tripura, where the Union Minister inaugurated development projects, visited healthcare institutions, and launched tourism initiatives.
