Agartala, January 24, 2026: Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday asserted that quality education is the only path to building a corruption-free society, urging students to integrate learning, lifestyle, and action for true success. He was speaking at the silver jubilee celebration of Synod Foundation School in Lefunga, which marked 25 years of its establishment.

Nath described the institution’s milestone as more than an anniversary, calling it a proud chapter of discipline, perseverance, and holistic development. He paid tribute to the founders and visionaries who envisioned a school where education would extend beyond textbooks to character building, empathy, morality, and social responsibility.

Lauding the role of teachers, the minister said they are “guardians, guides, and role models,” whose dedication has shaped the institution’s journey. He emphasized that over the past 25 years, the school has not only imparted knowledge but also promoted inclusivity, unity, and social harmony, enriching Tripura’s cultural fabric.

Addressing students, Nath urged them to see themselves as future scientists, artists, doctors, athletes, leaders, and innovators. Success, he reminded, is not measured by marks alone but by the balance of learning, living, and action. Using a metaphor, he likened life to a notebook where the first and last pages are written by God, while the blank pages in between must be filled with love, unity, and purposeful work. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, he said, “All power is within you. You can do anything you want.”

Highlighting the importance of co-curricular activities, Nath noted that sports and cultural participation instill teamwork, discipline, leadership, humility in victory, and courage in defeat. He stressed that a sharp mind and a healthy body together create a strong future.

Concluding his address, Nath urged students to respect teachers, support peers, dream big, and work with honesty. “Your future is not written by fate, but by your hard work,” he said, reiterating that quality education remains the cornerstone of a just and corruption-free society.
