Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday unfurled the national flag at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex in Kohima to mark the 77th Republic Day.

Extending warm greetings on the occasion of Republic Day 2026, Rio called upon the people to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening India as a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic.

He said the constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity should continue to guide the country towards unity, progress and shared prosperity.
