Manipur: Short Film On Amur Falcon Conservation Released In Tamenglong

A short film titled “Amur’s Journey to Conservation” was released by Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Tamenglong, Kharibam Hitler Singh, on January 26, 2026, at the Rainforest Club Office, Tamenglong.

The release programme was attended by Rainforest Club founder Dr Chambo Gonmei, retired Director of Health Services Shri Joel Gangmei, Range Forest Officer (RFO) Tamenglong Shri Khundrakpam Johnson, RFO Tamei, along with members of the Rainforest Club.

Directed by Mordecai Panmei and produced by the Tamenglong Forest Division, Government of Manipur, the short film highlights the significance of Amur falcon conservation and showcases the vital role played by local communities in protecting the species in Manipur.
