Agartala, January 27, 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday voiced strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a decisive victory in the forthcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, declaring that the party’s lotus symbol would “bloom across the Council.”

Dr. Saha made the assertion while welcoming 352 new voters from 110 families into the BJP fold at Jolaibari in South Tripura district.

“Wherever I go, I witness overwhelming affection and support for the BJP. Today alone, 110 families have joined us. This clearly indicates the outcome of the upcoming TTAADC elections,” the Chief Minister said.

Highlighting that the Council comprises 28 seats, Dr. Saha said he was confident the BJP would capture all of them. He credited the surge in support to the party’s governance model and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“People are listening, understanding and closely observing the leadership of Prime Minister Modi through our work. They are watching governance in action,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister further stated that the BJP has consistently addressed people’s aspirations for peace, security and transparent governance, not only in Tripura but across several states. He added that the growing public support reflects citizens’ desire for stability, protection and development, which they associate with the BJP’s policies and leadership.
