Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Indian Coast Guard, flagged off a joint bike rally from the Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles (HQ DGAR), Laitkor, Shillong, on February 2, 2026.

The rally’s Phase I covered the route from Haldia to Shillong. Phase II, flagged off by Brigadier Sandip Chatterjee, SM, will continue from Shillong to Pangsau Pass in South Arunachal Pradesh.

The initiative aims to strengthen inter-service cooperation, promote national integration, and reinforce a shared commitment to national service.
