Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday visited Siji, marking a significant milestone as Lower Siang district becomes fully functional. During his visit, the CM inspected ongoing infrastructure development and laid the foundation for a series of key projects aimed at improving administration, connectivity, and public services in the region.
The projects announced include the construction of a Mini Secretariat at Siji, an RCC bridge over the Siji River, road connectivity from Likabali Highway to the district headquarters, a Government Secondary School at Dipa, accommodation facilities for government officers and staff, a Rest House and Fire Station, and Type-V quarters at the Siji Police Station in Pale.
“These initiatives will serve as the backbone of a new administrative and service delivery ecosystem for Lower Siang,” Pema Khandu said, highlighting the government’s focus on regional development and infrastructure enhancement.
