Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Monday held a meeting with Rajendra N. Dash, Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), at his office in Babupara following a courtesy call.
During the meeting, the two leaders held constructive discussions and exchanged views on the prevailing security situation in the state.
They reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining peace and stability and ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens.
In a separate engagement, the Chief Minister met office bearers and members of the Mayai Lambi Apunba Lup (MALAL) at his residence. The delegation expressed appreciation for the strengthening of the pavement along National Highway 137A, popularly known as Mayai Lambi.
The Chief Minister thanked the delegation for their constructive engagement and valuable suggestions.
He assured them that their requests regarding the widening of the road in market areas and improvement of the drainage system are under serious consideration, and that appropriate action will be taken in due course to enhance public convenience and infrastructure in the region.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring sustainable development and improved connectivity across the state.
