The Class 12 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) commenced across the state on Tuesday, with more than 31,500 candidates appearing at 117 examination centres.
The examinations are scheduled to conclude on March 20. Authorities have stated that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.
Meanwhile, Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand extended his best wishes to students appearing for the Class X and Class XII CBSE Examinations 2026.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister urged students to remain calm, focused and confident as they step into an important phase of their academic journey. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message during Pariksha Pe Charcha, he said examinations should be seen as opportunities to showcase learning and growth rather than as a burden.
Encouraging students to face each paper with clarity of mind and without stress or anxiety, he expressed confidence that their dedication and perseverance would lead to success. The Chief Minister also conveyed his prayers and blessings for their outstanding performance and a bright future.
