Tripura Ministers, Leaders Participate in BJP’s Northeastern ‘Training Campaign–2026’ Workshop at Guwahati

Agartala, February 23, 2026: Guwahati witnessed the organisation of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Northeastern “Training Campaign–2026” workshop, aimed at making the party structure stronger, more dynamic and future-ready across the Northeastern region. The workshop saw active participation from several ministers, MLAs and party office bearers from Tripura, reflecting the party’s emphasis on coordinated organisational growth in the region.

Ministers Sudhangshu Das, Tinku Roy, Pranajit Singh Roy, Kishor Barman, along with Tripura Pradesh BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, MLAs Rampada Jamatia and Bhagaban Das, and other senior leaders attended the workshop held in Guwahati.

During the workshop, detailed discussions were held on the party’s ideology, organisational working methods and future action plans. Leaders exchanged views and offered directional suggestions aimed at making the organisation more disciplined, well-coordinated and effective in the Northeastern states.

Addressing the gathering, Rajib Bhattacharya said, “The primary objective of this training programme is to make the BJP in the Northeastern region more dynamic and firmly rooted. Through a strong organisational structure, well-planned programmes and the collective efforts of our dedicated workers, the party is steadily moving towards achieving its future goals.”

Minister Sudhangshu Das highlighted the ideological importance of the initiative, stating, “This training camp will play a crucial role in further strengthening the party’s ideology and in effectively implementing our commitment to public service. Such initiatives are vital for reinforcing the foundation of the organisation.”

Minister Tinku Roy described the workshop discussions as “fruitful and inspiring”, adding that the exchange of views and guidance provided during the programme would significantly help in consolidating organisational activities in the coming days.

Party leaders expressed confidence that the Training Campaign–2026 would enhance organisational efficiency and energise BJP workers, enabling the party to expand its reach and impact across the Northeastern region.
